Actipharm: animal and human health, explained simply
Actipharm is an independent editorial guide to family health and pet care, written in Switzerland. Most of our content is in French, with a selection of veterinary guides in German.
What you will find
- Family pharmacy (in French): colds, sore throat and cough; constipation and digestive comfort; dry skin, small wounds and minor burns.
- Animal health (in French): eyes, ears, teeth and joints of dogs and cats, senior pets, hand-rearing orphaned kittens and puppies, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets.
- Tiergesundheit (in German): selected veterinary guides written for German-speaking Switzerland.
- Dosage forms (in French): why a medicine comes as a tablet, a syrup, a suppository or a gel, and how to read its package leaflet.
Our rules
We are independent: no manufacturer, pharmacy or pet food company funds or reviews our guides. We never name drug brands and never give doses. Every guide lists its sources (Swiss authorities, university hospitals, veterinary faculties) and ends with a clear list of situations where you should see a doctor, a pharmacist or a vet without delay. More in our editorial charter (French).
About the domain
